Lalu Delbracio Workshop

Lalu Delbracio's talk focused on art exhibitions beyond a print on a wall. Using ripped layers of paper on walls and the floor, as well as performance pieces. We found it a little tricky to relate to photography, since it is predominantly a 2D rectangular medium. However it definitely got us thinking more about ways in which we could present work more uniquely. For example on the floor so that people walk over the images, or using fabric to embellish the framing.

In the workshop our paper sculpture referenced the elements more literally than other groups. Using high waves to represent water, the island as earth, a small campfire as fire, and a wind turbine as wind.
