Trinity Theatre Visit

After our trip to London our group went to Tunbridge Wells to explore Trinity Theatre. Since the outside and foyer are the spaces available to us, these are the areas we focused on, talking about potential locations of prints and potential areas we could theme the project around.

After a long discussion we also solidified our theme. We would like to focus on a single memorial in the foyer dedicated to a woman who died at sea in the 1800s. This stood out to us for a number of reasons, such as the fact that it is so prominent still in the theatre and is only for one person, as well as that such a plaque is so far away from the coast, and the concept of travel between England and India 200 years ago being a long and potentially dangerous trip.
We talked about using long exposures, ICM and other abstract techniques for seascapes, although the specific kinds of image are still subject to change. However this means we can finally get to work on other aspects of the exhibition.
